Good question, I don't know maybe someone else can comment if KLB has a clear canopy now. Actually just checked and Banggood seem to do a V2 KLB with a clear canopy if the picture is anything to go by. So yes it seems.

Ok so they all seem the same. I gave it away in the end to my mate who rescued it for me from a tree. He seems happy with it even though I warned him lol.

Actually they were the original stickers that I removed but it was impossible to save them. I couldn't find any replacements, hence went for shark teeth instead.

@@Calvertfilm I have just hooked up a couple of micro servos via a y cable to an xk miniwarbird with a similar rx and the result all works until the motor is activated and then the voltage draw is to much and they merely twitch, so I think that is a non runner. It’s a pity but I guess asking a bit much of a 1s battery. Thanks for replying so rapidly. They are great planes nevertheless and have become a bit of an obsession with me.

@@michaelwheatland4565 That's interesting and thanks for letting me know. I have 18 in my fleet so a bit of an obsession too. For me a new genre of low and close flying that is extremely low risk, and therefore just huge fun.

I just gently persuade it back into position. If that fails and it's still loose, it may need the fuselage opening up using a craft knife, and then the motor put back into position again and use a little UHU style glue to hold it and re-glue the fuselage.

Well the nose gear broke only because of the big crash. And to be fair those at my club were amazed it was airworthy again with a three-hour fix. Since then, I've used a filler and made it super good, all with the crashed parts. I find my Tasman is a better beginner plane but this one I rate too and it is much cheaper. This one steers better on the ground with the nose wheel rather than the Tasman tail wheel.

To be fair they are all very similar. Some people have measured them and they are within 1 or 2 mph of each other, normally around 29mph. Nothing in it really. Mind you if you fly with a tail wind they go really fast lol. Say 40mph.

Gday to you too. Interesting question. Maybe someone has done it on UA-cam? I don't know as I haven't opened up a transmitter. Mind you the sticks are fixed into the body. Not sure if inside the spring mechanism can be swapped for the throttle/elevator either. It might require surgery on the sticks. These planes can be connected to a regular transmitter using the V761 protocol but you may lose aerobatics function (never done it myself but videos are on UA-cam), so that way you could get it mode 1. You can buy spare transmitters to experiment. If you find out please let me know.
